This tutorial explains how you should configure your devices and your plugin to send the unsolved captcha on your devices. This tutorial is based on an example with two devices, if you want to configure more than two devices, just reproduce the configurations steps for each extra device.
Device configuration:
For each device follow these steps:
Plugin configuration:
Choose a main account, in this tutorial the User1 will be the main account. Follow these steps to install the plugin:
Linking your devices together:
To link your devices together you'll have to create a community:
Redirecting the captchas:
The configuration is done, now you can choose on which device you want to receive the captcha. Just check the Receive captcha notifications checkbox (in the application) in the device you want to receive the captcha. The captcha is sent to only one device, the order is first the main device (attached to the main account) and then the devices in your community.
Device configuration:
For each device follow these steps:
- Create an account on the jdCaptcha website (remember to verify your email address). For the tutorial purpose, lets consider that we create two accounts named User1 and User2.
- Install the application on the device.
- Register your device to your account (first device registered with the account User1 and second device registered with the account User2).
- Configure jdCaptcha to receive the other notifications and go to your account page on the website to send a test message.
Plugin configuration:
Choose a main account, in this tutorial the User1 will be the main account. Follow these steps to install the plugin:
- Download the last release of the plugin.
- Install the plugin following the instructions, download the config.inc.php or jdCaptcha.properties file from the main account (make sure to be logged with the correct account). You don't need the configuration files of the other account (here User2).
- Execute the TestMe script to check that you correctly receive captcha on your main device (the one which is registered to your main account, here User1).
Linking your devices together:
To link your devices together you'll have to create a community:
- Log in with your main account (here User1 ).
- Go to the My Community page and invite your other account (so here invite User2) with a high priority. Make sure that the checkbox Do not receive community's invitation is unchecked for all your accounts (by default it is checked) before starting the invitation.
- Log in with your secondary account (here User2 ).
- Go to the My Community page and accept the invitation. Configure the limit to unlimited (otherwise when the limit will be reached you'll not receive the captcha).
- Go to the Summary page and make sure the checkbox Receive captcha notifications from communities is checked (it means that you accept to solve captcha from the communities but only the one you accepted the invitation).
Redirecting the captchas:
The configuration is done, now you can choose on which device you want to receive the captcha. Just check the Receive captcha notifications checkbox (in the application) in the device you want to receive the captcha.
