If you've just received a notification and you've got the error, it obviously doesn't mean that you have an issue with your internet connection. And if you've just received a notification it also means that the server is up and running. So, what is going on?
One possible reason of this error is a too short timeout, in that case you can try again after incrementing the timeouts:
Open the application (if not already done)
Click on the Menu button.
Select the Preferences.
Scroll down to Server connection timeout and select it.
Increment the current value (if it is 5, then enter 6).
Scroll down to Data timeout and select it.
Increment the current value (if it is 3, then enter 4).
In the case of this specific error, it is important to increase the Data timeout. You can try incrementing the value multiple times. If you still have the same issue, contact me.
Is it possible to use Llama to enable/disable notifications?
The other notifications are a "big" word to say everything but captcha notifications. Currently, other notifications are:
Test notification (available in the My Account page).
If you don't enable the other notifications, you'll not be able to test the application (test notification) and you'll not receive a notification when your account will be approved (an email will be sent).
Can I register more than one device to my account?
Yes since the 2.0 release it is possible to also use captchatrader.com but you need to install the PHP version of the jdCaptcha plugin.
To enable the captchatrader.com feature, unzip the captchatrader archive in the jdCaptcha plugin directory (you should have a new directory in the jdCaptcha directory). Then download the captchatrader patch here and unzip it in the jdCaptcha directory.
Your captchas will be sent to captchatrader.com when you disable the captcha notification.
Why is there so much difference between 'Captcha notifications' and 'Captcha Resolved'?
That's because every time a notification is sent users are not necessarily ready to respond (they could be asleep or just doing something else).
It doesn't mean that jdCaptcha is not working properly.
